Colonial American military history

Colonial American military history is the story of the wars and battles that the people who lived in America fought before it became the United States of America. It includes wars with Native Americans, wars between the different European powers like Britain, France and Spain, and the American Revolution (the war of the colonies against Britain). In many of these wars, colonists had to fight alone without help from outside countries. It also includes stories of brave soldiers and leaders who fought during these times, including people like George Washington and many Native Americans who helped America to win freedom from Britain.
