Colors of noise

Noise has different colors because it has different sounds. For example, white noise sounds like a rushing waterfall and has a hissing sound. Pink noise has tones that sound like a low roar, like a waterfall combined with thunder. Brown noise is deeper and resembles a rumbling thunderstorm. Gray noise is soft and hissing like the sound of rain.
