Common Alerting Protocol

Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) is a way for emergency services, like firefighters, police officers, and ambulance crews, to quickly and easily send messages to each other. The messages can include important information about what kind of help is needed and where help is needed. This makes it easier for these emergency responders to coordinate with each other and get to the right place as quickly as possible.
