ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Comparative theology

Comparative theology is like comparing different types of candy to see which one is the best. But instead of candy, we are comparing different religions to learn about their beliefs, practices, and teachings. This means we can look at different religions, like Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism, and compare the things that they believe in and how they practice their religion. This helps us to better understand each religion and how it compares to others. Just like how you might like one type of candy over another, people might have their own preference for one religion over another. But by studying different religions and comparing them, we can learn to respect and appreciate the similarities and differences between them.
