ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Complex geometry

Complex geometry is a type of math that deals with shapes that have curved sides and edges rather than straight ones. It is kind of like making shapes out of a pile of noodles. You can twist the noodles in different ways to make different shapes like squares, rectangles, circles and other interesting shapes. You can also build structures like bridges, houses or tunnels using complex geometry. To do this, you have to use equations to calculate where to place the connections between the different parts of the structure.
