Compressor stall

Okay kiddo, imagine a big airplane flying in the sky. The airplane has a special machine called a compressor that helps it move forward. But sometimes, the compressor doesn't work properly and the airplane stops moving forward. This is called a compressor stall.

It's kind of like when you're riding your bike and your pedals suddenly stop moving. You have to stop and try to fix the pedals before you can pedal again. The airplane has to do the same thing by trying to fix the compressor before it can move forward again.

Compressor stalls can happen for many reasons, like if the air coming into the compressor isn't flowing smoothly or if something gets stuck inside it. It's not safe for the airplane to keep flying if it has a compressor stall, so the pilots have to make an emergency landing to fix it.

So, remember that a compressor stall is like when a big airplane's special machine stops working and it has to stop and fix it before it can keep flying.
