Comptroller and Auditor General

Okay, so the comptroller and auditor general is a very important person who makes sure that the government is spending money in the right way. Think of it like when mom or dad gives you money for a toy, they want to know that you spent it on the toy and not something else like candy or cookies.

The comptroller and auditor general's job is like that but with the whole government and lots of money. They check to make sure that the government is using the money they have in the right way and not wasting it or using it for things they shouldn't.
