Computational statistics

Computational statistics is when we use computers to help us figure out information from data. Think of data as puzzle pieces and computational statistics as the tool that helps us put those pieces together to create the big picture. The computer helps us analyze the data and gives us answers to questions like: are these two things related? Is this a good prediction? How confident can we be in our results? Computational statistics helps make analyzing data easier and quicker so we can use the information to make decisions or learn new things about the world around us.
