Computer chess

Hey kiddo, do you know what chess is? It's that game where you move pieces on a board to capture the other person's king!

Did you know that people can play chess on a computer too? That's computer chess!

Here's how it works:

First, the computer has a program that tells it how to play chess. It knows all the rules and can figure out the best move to make based on its calculations.

When a person plays against a computer in chess, they move their piece and then the computer makes its move. The computer takes just a few seconds to make its move because it's really fast at calculating all the possible moves it could make.

When the computer makes a move, it might even show the person playing against it what the best move would be for them to make next!

Some computer chess programs are so good that they actually beat world champion chess players. Can you imagine playing against a computer that good?

So, that's computer chess! Pretty cool, right?
