Computer engineering

Computer engineering is when someone designs and builds computers. People who study computer engineering learn about things like computer hardware (the physical parts that make up a computer like the keyboards and processors) and computer software (the programs and operating systems that help the computer to do what it needs to do). Computer engineers make sure that all these different parts of the computer work together, so that they can help people do things like use the internet, play video games, and work on word documents.
