ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Computer ethics

Computer ethics is a subject that focuses on our choices and behaviors when we use technology. Its purpose is to make sure that our use of computers is respectful and kind — and not hurtful or damaging to others. For example, computer ethics tells us not to access someone else's private files or delete something on purpose that belongs to someone else. Additionally, it encourages us to use computers responsibly and think carefully about how our decisions affect other people.
