Concert of Europe

The Concert of Europe was a period of time in history between 1814-1815. It was a time when some of the most powerful countries in Europe (like Great Britain, Prussia, Austria and Russia) worked together to keep peace in Europe. This was done by having meetings and discussions, agreeing to certain laws and rules and making sure everyone stuck to them. They also decided to get involved in any war that was started and act as the 'policemen' of the continent. Basically, they wanted to make sure Europe stayed peaceful and further fighting stopped.
