Concrete recycling is when old, broken down pieces of concrete (sometimes from roads, building foundations, or driveways) are crushed up into small pieces and then reused to make new, strong pieces of concrete. It's kind of like when you take some old pieces of lego, smash them up and make new pieces with the pieces of lego you smashed up. Concrete recycling helps to reduce pollution, save space in landfills, and save energy.
