ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Conductor (software)

A conductor is like a boss that helps other workers (called software) work together properly. Just like a teacher helps students work together in a classroom, a conductor helps software programs work together on a computer. The conductor makes sure that all the programs are doing what they're supposed to do and that they're following the rules so that everything works smoothly. So, if you want different software programs to work together, you need a conductor to make it happen!
