plagiarism

Plagiarism is when somebody copies another person's work without giving that person credit. It's like if you had a cool bike and you let your friend borrow it for a week. It would be wrong for your friend to keep the bike and say that it was their own bike. That's sort of like what plagiarism is - taking somebody else's work (like writing a story or drawing an illustration) and trying to pass it off as your own.
