Connection (algebraic framework)

Connection (algebraic framework) is a way of looking at mathematics in terms of relationships between different numbers (or other objects). For example, if you have two numbers - say, 5 and 10 - then the connection between them could be phrased as "the first number is twice the second number". By looking at different relationships between numbers and other objects, mathematicians can better understand how things are related and figure out new theories and ideas that might help explain problems.
