ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Conservation law

Conservation law helps us to understand that matter and energy cannot be created or destroyed. It means that we can not make more matter or energy than we already have, and that whatever matter and energy that exists can be changed from one form to another but will still be the same amount. To make it simpler, when it comes to conserving natural resources like water, it means that we have to use carefully what we already have and find ways to keep it clean for longer periods of time.
