ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Consistency (negotiation)

Consistency in negotiation means that you have to be fair and stick to what you said you would do or what you promised. This is similar to how you have to keep your promises to your friends or family. If you said you will share your toy with them, you have to share it with them every time they ask. In negotiation, it means that if you agreed to a certain deal or condition, you have to make sure you follow through with it every time. This helps build trust between you and the other person, and they will be more likely to negotiate with you again in the future.
