religion

Religion is when people believe in a special power that is greater than us. People often pray to this power and do special things in their lives to show respect and love. This power is usually called a god and people believe that it is the one that created the world and everything in it. People will sometimes go to special places called temples or churches and do special things like praying to show their love and respect to the god they believe in. They also have certain rules and traditions they follow to stay close to their god.
