Socialization

Socialization is when people learn how to behave in society. It's like learning the rules of being part of a group. For example, when you get older, you learn that it's polite to say 'please' and 'thank you' to people, and that it's not okay to take things without asking. You also learn how to be a good friend, how to dress nicely, how to respect other people, and how to act around adults. Socialization helps us be the kind of people that can work together and get along with each other.
