ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Consistent histories

Consistent histories means that any two different stories about what happened fit together without any parts of the stories being wrong. This can be like two different people telling two different versions of a story. They may have different details, but the stories still fit together like pieces of a puzzle. It's kind of like making sure that the stories are consistent so that everyone agrees with the same version of what happened.
