Constellation program
The Constellation Program was a plan by NASA to go back to the Moon and even go to Mars! Just like how we had astronauts go to the Moon a long time ago, NASA wanted to send people back there and even have people walk around and explore.
The Constellation Program had a special rocket called the Ares I and a bigger one called Ares V, to take people and supplies to the Moon and Mars. They also had a special spacecraft called the Orion Crew Vehicle that would carry people from the rocket to the Moon.
Sadly, the program was cancelled in 2010 due to funding and technical challenges. But, don't worry, NASA still has plans to send astronauts back to the Moon and eventually to Mars in the future!
