Consumption (economics)

Consumption, in economics, is when people buy things they need or want, like groceries, clothes, cars, or houses. When money is spent on these items, it helps businesses stay in business and provide jobs. When people have jobs, they can make money and buy more things. This spending helps the economy stay strong. So if we all buy things every now and then, it keeps the economy moving and everyone happy.
