ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Container method

Imagine that you have a box and you want to put some smaller things inside it. Let's say you have some toy blocks that you want to keep inside the box. You can't just throw them in there, or they'll be all over the place.

So, to keep them in order, you can use the container method. You get another smaller box, or a container, that is just the right size to fit all the blocks in. Once you have placed the blocks inside that smaller box, you then place the smaller box inside the bigger box. This way, the blocks won't move around as much and you can easily take them out whenever you want to play with them.

Now imagine that instead of toy blocks, you have a lot of different things in your house that you want to keep organized, like clothes, books, and toys. You can use the same container method to organize all those things as well. Just like you did with the blocks, you find smaller boxes or containers that fit each group of things, and then put the containers inside larger containers, like drawers, shelves or cabinets.

Using the container method helps you keep everything neat and tidy, and it makes it easy to find what you need when you need it. It's like having a treasure map that leads you straight to your favorite things.
