Continental Celtic languages

Hello, little one! Today we will talk about something very interesting: the Continental Celtic Languages. Do you know what a language is? It's a way people use to communicate with each other, like the words we are using now to talk.

Now, many years ago, before English, Spanish or any other language we know today existed, there were different languages that people spoke. One of them was called the Celtic language. There were different kinds of Celtic languages, but we are going to focus on the Continental Celtic languages.

The Continental Celtic languages were spoken by people who lived in different parts of Europe, especially in what is now France, Spain, and Switzerland. These people were called Celts, and they had their own culture, beliefs, and way of life.

The Celts spoke different dialects of their language, but they were all very similar. Some of the most famous Continental Celtic languages were Gaulish, Celtiberian, and Lepontic.

Nowadays, these languages are not spoken anymore. But we have some written records of them, like inscriptions on stones, coins or other objects. That's how we can learn more about them and their culture.

So, to sum up, Continental Celtic languages were languages spoken by people who lived in different parts of Europe many years ago, and they had their own way of communicating with each other. Today, we can still learn about them through written records.
