Continuous stochastic process

A continuous stochastic process is like a roller coaster ride - it goes up and down again and again in kind of a loopy way. It isn't predictable, so you never know when it's going to go up, or when it's going to go down. It's very random, like flipping a coin. Scientists use this kind of process to predict how things might change in the future.
