Convention on Domestic Workers

The Convention on Domestic Workers is an agreement between countries and governments across the world that makes sure that people who work in someone else's home, like a nanny or a housekeeper, have the same rights and protections as other types of workers. This agreement means that Domestic Workers have rights to minimum wages, reasonable working hours, paid vacation, decent living and working conditions, and respect for their dignity. This agreement is to make sure Domestic Workers are treated fairly and equally no matter where they work.
