Conversation theory

Conversation theory is about how people communicate with one another. It is all about understanding how people, who are speaking different languages or from different cultures, can still have conversations and understand each other. In conversation theory, experts try to figure out what words and ideas are needed to have a successful conversation, and how to make sure everyone involved understands what is being said.
