A conversational user interface (or CUI) is a way for people to use a computer or device that is like a normal conversation. Instead of using the traditional keyboard or mouse to input commands, people can ask questions and the computer will understand and respond to them. For example, if you asked a CUI "What's the weather like today?" it might respond with "it's going to be sunny and warm with temperatures reaching the high seventies." CUIs can be used in a variety of ways, from ordering food to asking for directions. They are becoming increasingly popular as they make it more natural for people to interact with technology.
