Copper Hoard culture

Okay, so imagine you have a big box of toys that you really like. Now imagine you find out that one type of toy, let's say it's your Lego blocks, is really valuable and important to other people too. They want to trade things with you to get your Legos because they need them to build important things like buildings and tools.

The Copper Hoard Culture was like this - a group of people who lived a long time ago in a place called South Asia where they discovered that copper was really valuable to other people. So instead of keeping it all for themselves, they started collecting lots and lots of copper and hiding it in special places like pits in the ground.

These people didn't build fancy cities or big temples like some other ancient societies. They mostly lived in small communities and farms, but they were really good at making tools and ornaments out of copper. They would trade these things with other people who needed them to make their own tools and important objects.

So the Copper Hoard Culture is known for their love of copper and how they collected and traded it with others. It's a bit like you sharing your Legos with others in exchange for things you want or need.
