Cornish Bronze Age

Ok kiddo, let's talk about what people were doing a really long time ago in a place called Cornwall, which is in the southwest of England. Back then, people didn't have fancy technology like we do today, so they had to be really creative to survive.

During the Bronze Age, which was about 3,000 years ago, people in Cornwall were really good at making things out of bronze. Bronze is a type of metal that is made from mixing copper and tin together. They used bronze to make all sorts of things like weapons, tools, and jewelry.

The people who lived in Cornwall during this time were farmers and they grew crops like barley, oats, and wheat. They also kept animals like cows, sheep, and pigs for food.

Some of the most famous things that people from the Cornish Bronze Age made were something called "barrows." Barrows were big mounds of earth that had a lot of special things buried in them like jewelry, weapons, and even people who died. These barrows were really important to the people who made them because they believed that the dead people who were buried in them would go to a special place in the afterlife.

Overall, the Cornish Bronze Age was a really important time in history because it showed us how creative and resourceful people could be even without all the technology we have today!
