Counselling

Imagine if you have a lot of feelings inside you that you don't understand or feel comfortable talking about with other people. Sometimes it can be hard to know what to do with those feelings or how to make sense of them. That's where counselling comes in!

Think of a counsellor like someone who is really good at listening and helping you sort out your thoughts and feelings. They are like a "feeling helper." When you go to see a counsellor, you can talk to them about anything that's on your mind, and they will listen without judging you. They might ask you questions or give you ideas to help you think more clearly about things.

Counselling can help you in different ways depending on what you need. Maybe you're feeling sad or angry, or you're having trouble with friends or family. A counsellor can help you figure out what's going on and suggest ways to cope with those feelings or problems. They might teach you breathing exercises or give you ideas for things you can do to feel better.

It's important to remember that counselling doesn't solve all your problems, and it might take time to see results. But over time, talking to a counsellor can help you feel more confident, calm, and able to deal with whatever life throws your way. And remember, just like with a doctor or a teacher, everything you talk about with a counsellor is private and confidential, so you don't have to worry about anyone else finding out.
