Psychopharmacology

Psychopharmacology is the study of how medicines used to treat mental health conditions, like depression, anxiety and schizophrenia, work in our bodies. It looks at how different medicines interact with the brain and can change the way we think, feel and behave. By understanding how mental health medicines work, doctors can decide which medicine is right for a person and help create an individualized treatment plan.
