Covered interest arbitrage

Covered interest arbitrage is when someone buys a currency from one country and then sells it in a different country for a higher price. The person will use a loan in the first country to buy the currency and then use the money from selling the currency to pay back the loan. This means that the person makes a profit without having to use any of their own money.
