Coyol wine is a drink made from the sap of a type of tree called a coyol. Coyol trees grow in warm, tropical areas like in Central and South America.
To make coyol wine, a person climbs up the tree and cuts off the flower bud at the top. Then they make a small hole in the bud and attach a container to collect the sap that comes out. The sap is a clear, watery liquid that tastes a little bit like sugar water.
Once the container is full of sap, it's taken down from the tree and boiled to help preserve it and make it last longer. Sometimes, people add some sugar or fruit juice to the sap to make it sweeter and tastier.
After boiling and adding flavors, the coyol wine is put in a jar or bottle to cool down and be ready to drink. Coyol wine is usually served cold, and it can be a fun and refreshing drink to try!
