Credibility theory

Credibility theory is all about whether or not someone is believable, or credible. It suggests that if we believe something is true, then it is likely to be true. It's like a game of trust - if we trust someone we're more likely to believe them. The idea is that if we trust someone, then their words are more likely to be true. Basically, credibility theory is a way to measure how much we believe and trust something or somebody.
