The Cromer Cycle is a scientific process that helps explain how the sun gives off energy. It starts with hydrogen gas that is in the sun's core. The gases interact in a certain way which causes them to join together, or combine, to form helium. When the hydrogen and helium join together, they release a lot of energy. This energy rises up to the sun's surface and is released out into space as light and heat. This process is called the Cromer Cycle and it keeps happening over and over, providing us with the energy we need to keep living on Earth.
