Crone

Alright kiddo, a "crone" is a word used to describe an older woman. When a woman gets really, really old and wise, she becomes a crone.

It's kind of like how a caterpillar turns into a butterfly. Just like how a caterpillar goes through different stages before it becomes a butterfly, a woman also goes through different stages in her life.

A young woman is like a caterpillar, just starting out on her journey. As she grows up, she becomes a butterfly, spreading her wings and exploring the world. And when she gets really old, like a butterfly that has lived a long life, she becomes a crone.

Now, being a crone doesn't mean that a woman is any less important or valuable. In fact, it's the opposite! A crone is someone who has lived a long and full life, filled with experiences and wisdom.

So, you may hear people talk about "honoring the crones" or "listening to the wisdom of the crones". That means we should respect and listen to the older women in our lives, because they have a lot to teach us about the world.
