Hag

A "hag" is a scary old woman with wrinkles and gray hair. She might wear raggedy clothes and look like she's been in the forest for a long time. People used to believe that hags had magical powers and could cast spells on them. But really, they were just regular old women who knew a lot about herbs and medicines. Some hags even helped people by giving them remedies for their ailments. But because they looked different and knew things that others didn't, people were afraid of them and thought they were evil. Nowadays, we understand that hags were just misunderstood and were actually very wise and helpful.
