Crypto-shredding

Crypto-shredding is a way to make sure that an old digital file or document is completely deleted. It's like shredding paper, but instead of shredding paper you're shredding digital data. Basically, it works by taking the file or document you want to get rid of, breaking it into small pieces, and then deleting each of those pieces. That way, no one can put the pieces back together to get your old data.
