Cult (religious practice)

Okay, kiddo, you know how we have different ways of praying or worshipping depending on our religion? Well, imagine a group of people who have their own special way of praying or believing in God that is different from what everyone else does. This group of people might call themselves a "cult".

Now, what makes a cult different from a regular religious group is that cults often have a leader who tells everyone else what to do and what to believe. This leader might have very strict rules, like telling their followers what they can and can't eat, wear, or even who they can talk to. Sometimes, this leader might even convince their followers to give them money or other things that they own.

The thing about cults is that they can be very dangerous. Sometimes, the leaders can use their power to hurt people or even convince them to do bad things. That's why it's important to be careful and always think for yourself, even when you're part of a religious group.
