Cult of Reason

Have you ever heard of people who believe in doing things that are not true or are really silly? Some people believe in the "cult of reason" and this is one of those things.

The cult of reason was a group of people in France many years ago who believed that reason and science were the only ways to live your life. They believed that people should use logic and not just believe in things because they were told to.

The cult of reason thought that religion was bad because it was just a bunch of made-up stories and traditions that people followed blindly. They also thought that people who didn't use reason were dumb and should be ignored.

But the problem with the cult of reason was that they took things too far. They stopped caring about other people's feelings and started to become really mean and cruel. They even started to use violence to make people agree with them.

Eventually, the cult of reason fell apart because people realized that reason and science were important, but so were things like kindness and empathy for others. It's important to have a balanced approach to life and not just focus on one thing.
