Curette

A curette is a tool that doctors or dentists use to clean and scrape things in your body. It's shaped like a long, thin stick with a small scoop or loop at the end. The doctor or dentist can use the curette to gently scrape away things that shouldn't be there, like plaque on your teeth or tissue that needs to be removed. It's like using a little spoon to scoop out things that are causing problems. The doctor or dentist will be very careful and gentle when using the curette so it doesn't hurt you. They might numb the area first to make sure you don't feel any pain. And after they're done, they'll make sure everything is clean and you're all set!
