Customer churn

Imagine you have a favorite toy that you love playing with all the time. But one day, you realize that it's not as fun as it used to be or maybe you got a new toy that you like even more. This is sort of what happens with businesses and their customers when they experience churn.

Customer churn means that customers who were previously buying from a company stop buying from that company. It's like losing a friend or saying goodbye to your favorite toy. When that happens, the company is losing out on money that they could be making from those customers.

There are several reasons why customers might churn. Sometimes they find a better product that meets their needs better or maybe they had a bad experience with the company. Whatever the reason, it's important for a business to try and understand why customers are churning so they can try to keep them from leaving in the future.

By keeping customers happy and satisfied, businesses can prevent churn and keep their revenue flowing. So, just like you want to keep playing with your favorite toy, businesses want to keep their customers happy and keep them coming back for more.
