ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Customer-relationship management

Customer-relationship management, or CRM for short, is like having a special book where we keep all our important information about our friends.

In this book, we write down their names, what they like to do, their favorite food, and when their birthday is. We also write down when we talked to them last and what we talked about.

For a business, CRM is using a special computer program to keep track of important information about customers. We can store their names, email addresses, phone numbers, and what they like to buy from us.

We can also keep track of when we last talked to them, if they had any complaints or issues we need to fix, and what they think about our business.

This helps us remember who our customers are, what they like, and how we can make them happy. It's like having a big book of friends but for our customers. With this information, we can provide better customer service and build long-lasting relationships with our customers.
