Cycladic culture

Okay kiddo, let me tell you about Cycladic Culture.

A long long time ago, on some islands in Greece called the Cyclades, there were people who lived there. They didn't have phones or TVs or even cars! These were called the Cycladic people.

These people were very good at making things out of stone like statues and tools. They also made pottery which is like a type of clay bowl or vase. And they were very good at painting too!

The Cycladic people believed in different gods that they thought controlled different parts of their lives, like the sun and the sea. They prayed to these gods and had ceremonies and feasts to keep them happy.

Even though the Cycladic people were really good at making things and believed in gods, we don't know a lot about them because they didn't write things down. So we have to look at the things they made and try to figure it out.

We do know they lived a long time ago and left behind some really cool stuff for us to see and learn from.
