Cyrix

Cyrix was a type of computer chip that was made a long time ago. It's kind of like the brain of a computer – it helps the computer think and do things. The Cyrix chip was made to be less expensive than other chips, but it wasn't always as powerful or fast. Some people used Cyrix chips in their computers to save money. But eventually, other types of chips became more popular and Cyrix stopped being made. Nowadays, you probably won't see a computer with a Cyrix chip in it, but they were important for a while.
