Attribution errors are when someone makes a mistake about why something happened. For example, if a person gets an "A" on a test, they might think that it's because they are smart when really it was because they studied a lot. In this case, the person made an attribution error because they gave themselves too much credit and didn't give enough credit to the time they spent studying.
