DMA attack

Okay kiddo, do you know what DMA is? It stands for Direct Memory Access. It's like a shortcut for your computer to skip going through its normal channels to access information in its memory.

Now, a DMA attack is when a bad guy gets access to a computer's DMA channel and uses it to steal information. It's like a thief sneaking in through a back window instead of using the front door. The bad guy can use this shortcut to access sensitive information like passwords, credit card numbers, or other important data.

It's important to protect against DMA attacks by making sure your computer has strong security measures like firewalls and antivirus software. And, just like you shouldn't let a stranger in your house, you should never let someone you don't trust access your computer's DMA channel.
