ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Dadda multiplier

A daddy multiplier is a way for parents to help their children save money. It works by putting a certain amount of money into a savings account for the child every week. For example, say the parents decide to put $5 into the savings each week. This amount doubles each week so that week 2 the parents would put in $10, week 3 they put in $20 and so on. This helps the child's savings grow more quickly than it would if they were just putting in the same amount each week.
